the stupidity of people never fails to amaze me,going for a picnic in the rebelious tribal northwest, an area the govt barely if at all controls and where most kidnaps either take place or victims get taken too....really i hope they arent surprised.

In someway it's quite typical of aid workers though. Some deem themselves to be impervious to the troubles around them and believe that they can saunter around and won't be affected by the turmoils. Maybe they're just being naive, maybe they're just thick.
