On Daily Mail, so no longer alleged.
Apparently noone died, that is all on the skill of the pilot and the cabin crew. Gotta love the cabin crew girls.

Looks like a bad crash landing.
Just seen the pictures, on BBC and Sky, looks like a total hull loss.
Gulf news reported it as an Emergency landing.

It's reported no one got hurt. Now let me get this right:
A plane full of Indians crashes on landing and no one is hurt?
Every flight I've ever been on to south asia has at least ten people standing up rummaging through their bags or on the toilet on the approach to landing.
Then even if they did all land ok, I'm fairly sure the panic of getting out of the plane that was clearly filling up with smoke would mean people running over the top of the seats to get out.
Someone must have got hurt!
