On the Prune website there is some footage of passengers leaving the plane.

Some have got their hand luggage with them, including carry-on suitcases.

The stupidity of some people is astonishing.

Good to see all the keralites were getting their banana chips out of the overhead before getting off the burning plane.

In fairness I would probably grab my belongings too...although I never keep anything in the overhead compacts because I usually only carry a small backpack which I keep near my feet and has my cash/cc etc and so I wouldn't leave that behind, unless I had no option.

There is a reason they tell you to leave everything behind...nothing I take on a plane is worth burning to death for.
The fools who were getting their luggage should be prosecuted for endangering other people's lives.

I think I might have ended up with bruised knuckles.

any info on Emirates flights being canceled or delayed, or expected to be delayed or canceled in the next few days?
I do know of a few non-emirates flights that were canceled even 2 days ago and were rescheduled for tomorrow. It seems they ARE giving preference to Emirates flights but I just don't want to be stuck in the airport for 5 hours for a 1 hour flight.
