yes glad you got a place, this is because they are on target with the building works, so they have added an extra class to each year group as the need was there, and also the money of course.

Hi N1na, i am another Nina :-) and my son will be in Y1, daughter in Y6, of Al Yasmina. We're moving from Singapore and my company's project (for which i'm being posted) is slated to start 1 Oct, tho i've requested for an earlier move so the kids can start school on time (fingers crossed!)
I'll be heading down with colleagues in July/Aug to sort out housing/ transport/ other logistics issues before the actual move.

Can anyone advise me of the housing options avbl near Al Yasmina, ie Al Raha area, and the approx annual rents? I'm also a little concerned abt whether my office (which will be at al salaam, near corniche) might be too far, and whether we should rent a home somewhere in btwn al raha and corniche instd?

one more qn - will any of yr kids be using the Al Yasmina bus system?

Yes the Aldar website says up to 18 but I thought they were start from KG to Grade 6 to start

Got a colleague looking for a place in year 10 and 12 and BSAK are over subscribed for both years? So that would be great if they are going further than Year 6
