I work in real estate in Dubai and we have taken Ajman off our books !!!
Far to risky deal for power and water still not made !! if at all

Sure. But the biggest purchasers in the UAE and Brits and Europeans. And Russians. And Indians.

All those currencies have recently tanked against the dollar (and hence AED).

So there might be a profit on paper, but when you try to sell, you'll find that since the cost has also jumped to all those buyers, they will pay less.

You would be much better off holding USD or AED cash than holding an asset which is dependent largely on those with foreign currencies for its value.
