Does anyone know of an adult swim club in abu dhabi?
Used to have one in UK once a week (usually early morning) where we'd do an hour or so's proper training with a group of like-minded fools.
Various levels, with some amount of formal coaching. It was great fun and great fitness workout.
I know there used to be an AD tri club, but none of their sites seem to be current (are they still open?) and not too fussed about getting back into the full Tri experience.
I know there's an olympic-size pool at The Officers Club, but don't know of any meets arranged. Help!

not heard of one, just use the pool at officers club as that is perfect for it, and not interferring in the small pools at other places and getting in the way. the club sometimes tape off times for swimming laps.

the tri club is still on the go, in fact it is thriving. i am on their mailing list, they have weekly swims and a weekly (fri morning) bike ride...

Yeah, i just find it very hard to motivate yourself when you're on your own. Doing the full workout becomes a drag without some small form of competition.
