Default Accomodation Advice

Im enrolling my son at either Wellington International or GEMS World Academy and would like to know where would be a suitable place to live that is nearby. Ideally not too far from school and/or internet city and a 2/3 bedroom villa. Ideally a family orientated complex with a few amenities. Any recommendations? Im arriving on 24th August and dont have a clue on travelling times as i only spent 4 days there a few weeks ago and didnt travel during rush hour and schools were closed. Any help would be apprecated. Not too worried regarding cost.

Any of the Lakes/Meadows/Springs would be ideal for either school and fit your description above. Both of my kids are at WIS and it takes us about 10 (20 minutes tops) to get there from the Lakes. DIC is even closer.....

Thanks allot for that, so is any one complex better than the other. Ive had a look at the map and springs looks pretty far but maybe its just the map that makes it look that way!

the Springs is fine, but it also depends on what your budget is for accomodation.

bizarre isn't it!! 30,000 quid on rent!!! right that gives you a 210,000 dhs, you might be lucky and get a three bed on the Springs.

Have you tried Google Earth??? No, it ain't close plus factor in crap traffic and a daily Salik toll.... If you work in innernet CT and yr kid goes to GEMS, you wanna live in New Dubai, not the Bur......

Depending on budget, look at Springs, Greens, Marina, JBR, Umm Seq, Al Barsha, Al Sufouh.....

Good luck, fella....
