Hi,
To everyone on the forum...!!! Just a couple of boring questions to run past you would appreciate any advice.
I am moving to Abu Dhabi in Jan '08 from London and have been offered a 3 bed apartment in Al-Reem Plaza on bin Zayed 1st street #7. Does anyone know how this is location wise and what sort of standard we are looking at?
Also I have a Lloyds TSB bank account in the U.K will I have to open a local bank account and if not will I be able to readily withdraw funds from my U.K account in the U.A.E
Cheers
Raz

streets over here either cross the whole island or else lead from top to bottom of the island like a grid. that means that the street you mentioned is quite a long stretch. look it up in google maps and you will know what i mean. just make sure it has central ac as the ones with split acs are usually the run down buildings. if you employer is giving you residence dont look a gift horse in the mouth as trying to find accommodation here is quite a nightmare. i am in that situation at the moment and hoping my employer sorts it out for me.
