Have to drive down there from Dubai after work on wednesday as I don't think the bus will get me there in time.
Anyone know if there's long term parking available there? and how much it costs?

jeeper to be honest you are betting and cheaper to get a taxi, it cost us 100 aed in a taxi when we came back through AD and it was easier than the time before when we parked the car, it was dented and dirty and cost us a fortune, I think around 550.00 aed for 2 weekd, but please dont quote me on that as it was some time ago x

Last time I did the journey it was 350.

It costs 50dhs to get myself from satwa to the springs....and springs is nowhere near half way to AD.
Can't see how I can get 100dhs to AD unless I neg with one of the random taxis. It's 15dhs on the bus but i don't trust them to:
1. make it on time
2. have seats available

Yes honestly it was and it was Al Ghazal (Sp) I think that we took, I would still take a taxi there is no way I would leave my baby there

Springs to AD airport is about 150 dhs IIRC.

FWIW, that's still pretty cheap by airport standards... if you want to park for 2 weeks at Heathrow or Gatwick in one of the on-airport car parks (as opposed to the ones that are about 15-20 minutes away by courtesy coach), you'll pay nearer 2000 dhs.

dirt cheap. Dh70 for the first day and then dh40 per day afterwards

taxi should be Dh150. It's Dh350 from AD airport if you get conned into the merc taxis

They steer people toward the expensive service and don't tell you at all about the one that is less than half the price
