With 1 week to go before I fly to Dubai to start work, I was wondering if anyone has any 'must dos' for my last week in the UK...

Get a million passport-sized photos printed...
Bring decent deoderant because it's tough to get UK brands (hypothetical)

Anything you wish you'd done before your move or other advice hugely appreciated!

The only things I can't get here which I miss are.. Kingsmill bread, them kebabs from the van outside the pub..and orange aero. Oh..and an English/chinese takeaway.

I wish I had of left a lot of the stuff there that i shipped over.. that is all apart from one thing that you just cant buy here

Im just about to grab a cab so will probably regret saying that there is no deodorent problem! they are obviously not on sale to taxi drivers

I'll try to remember a few bars of orange aero thrugh heathrow duty free just in case we cross paths...

Junk mainly.. I had to bring over my new PC monitor, only to find it was out of date by the time it got here, my daughters TV for her room.. pictures, even some clothes.
Its the other stuff (that i am glad I did bring) which can't be mentioned.
They don't sell orange aero in duty free either.. but I have managed to get some frozen Kebabs over...
Oh and if you need an apatment to rent.. agency fee free..then bring the Aero...
