Making Friends
Hi I’ve recently moved to Calabasas to be with my husband. I’m looking to make some friends. Does anyone live in Calabasas or nearby? Has anyone got suggestions on how meet people in the states?

Look for people with common interests. Love books? Check out the library for reading groups. Love animals? Volunteer at the local animal shelter. Want to help other people? There's sure to be an organization working with the needy. Like art? Look for a painting class or group. Enjoy working out? Join a gym or jogging group. Don't limit yourself to looking for people from the same country as you -- embrace your new life and get to know your neighbors. Good luck!
