Recently moved to just outside of Pittsburgh, Pa from Lowestoft and am looking to perhaps meet up with other Brits in the area. Wife is from the US, and we are both hoping to meet other "international" couples. So who's out there?

Hi Mike, good to hear from you....The people of Pittsburgh have proved a very friendly and welcoming bunch, and for that i'm grateful.
Though i know there are many of us "Brits" in the area, somehow in the three years i have been on US soil (and having a very public job) they all seem to have eluded me....so its good to finally have proof that i'm not alone.

I'm in Youngstown - about 50 mins northwest of Pittsburgh. Welcome. Originally from the Ipswich area.
Why don't we actually make plans to meet up instead of just shout-outs on this board?

I agree, it would be good to meet some fellow Brits! I found the British food section in Market District. Marmite is back!

Hi!!
My husband and I moved to Mars (near Cranberry just outside Pittburgh) from Cambridge in August 2011. Dying to meet some fellow Brit friendly faces!! Currently in possession of several kilos of Cadbury's dairy milk which can be traded for a glass of wine!! Hope to meet some of you soon? If near Cranberry, we've discovered a nice bar/restaurant called BRGR which we often visit Friday's after work. Also know a nice bar in Pittsburgh called "olive or Twist".

There is a Scottish pub, Pipers, on the Southside, but I haven't been.
