Default Teaching in Dubai

Hi, i am an NQT teaching in UK atm. I am looking to complete my first year and move over to Dubai to teach in either pri or sec. I would like some help/advice on applying for jobs please.. I'm looking at GEMS and JESS. They only ask for a CV and photo... Is the CV what we would know as the letter of application based around the job description? Is there no forms to fill in like the UK? Something else I read online is that the accommodation provided is not private, it would be sharing. Is this correct! Any info would be great especially regarding what schools are best/worst to work in! Cheers, Sally x

Accommodation should be private.

My Mrs works for GEMS and faced an uphill battle to get a job as she had just completed her NQT year and everyone here asks for 2yrs experience.

She got into GEMS by coming here on holiday and spending all day every day for a week visiting schools and sending CVs etc etc.

Good luck.
