This Redundancy Support Group Meeting is a good idea and I know many in Abu Dhabi who would benefit from something similar. ALOR are now saying that 80% of staff will be going although that bit hasn't made the press yet. I also know other people at other companies who are going too! Would it be possible to post the Q&A's from the meeting so that those who can't attend could benefit too?

It was rhrhrh who posted the info. I understand that some parts of the project are being redesigned and the parts not already committed to LOR will be retendered and in fact there are some tenders out for parts of it now.

Re: Redundancy Support Group Meeting - Sunday 22nd of March
BC my issue is that there are people like you in AD who have been here a while and automatically assume that they know all and sundry about what's going on in everyones business. Even more than the actual people involved in the industry
Basically they are called gossips!!! |
Re: Redundancy Support Group Meeting - Sunday 22nd of March
perhaps now is time for me to respond,
as much as i wanted to respond to this 'pansy' bird/geyser last month i refrained from doing so on the basis that maybe my post was construed as gossiping or worse still seen as gloating at others misfortune as i said then and say again, i was one of many to face and get the axe. i apologise to anyone who works/worked there and didnt know, in retrospect it was a bad way to hear it on here and i am sorry for that to pansy, to quote your pleasantries you are the '****wit' for your obnoxious outburst. to everyone else, please dont shoot the messenger ok ?! |
