Afaik shell does mostly direct application recruitment
If you were not successful directly, you may struggle.
What is your profession / experience? In locations like Basra, most companies need seasoned professionals (eg 15 yrs minimum) as they cannot afford (from a safety pov) to let numpties learn on the job, as well a dealing with security issues - it's called task loading, and you want to as an employer minimize the task loading. Job should be second nature, such that the security awareness can be higher.
