There has been a railway in KSA for 60+ years - and it is currently undergoing hiuge expansion. The original line from Dammam to Hofuf and Riyadh will be extended to cover much more of the country.

IN KSA it is US technology with Saudi and Indian personnel. Has anyone else here travelled on the Damma-Hofuf-Riyadh service ? Surprising. Don't knock it until you have tried it !

Do you design signalling systems, or are you just the fat controller? If the former, then you may find something here - if the latter, give up as they will pay you nothing.
