Hello, can someone please shed some light on what the current process looks like at Qiddiya. I applied for a role through the website and LinkedIn and was contacted by a recruiter to complete some forms which I did. However, it has almost been a month and I have not received an update. Should I be expecting an interview any time soon? Thanks

All PIF companies are halting the hiring, better wait 2 months before leaving your current job

There’s been a massive backlash on social media (particularly X, LinkedIn and Tiktok) over the past few weeks in Saudi over expat hiring versus Saudization. It’s all mainly in Arabic language but the Financial Times reported on it a few days ago: "Saudi Arabia curbs complaints about jobs for foreigners."

So if your application has gone completely dark, don't take it personally. I assume they are pausing recruitment until the dust settles.
