Qatar offer
Hi everyone,
My husband has just been offered a job in Qatar. The offer is as follows (and is essentially a conversion of both our current nett salaries combined):
Basic: 42k
schooling: unlimited per child (we have 2)
flights: return per year for whole family
No accommodation allowance.
We have 2 kids in primary school. Is this offer enough to rent someone nice and have a comfortable life? Should we push back a little? How much should we push?
Thanks,
expataussie

You'll get a cracking villa for 15-20,000 a month I expect, leaving 22-27,000 to live off (food, bills, car). Education being paid for is a big plus, that'll save you lots of money.
