From: UK Middle eastern adventure still pending!

Hi all, I have my final interviews this weekend for a post in Doha, the package is a little light looking around the forum but prospects are good within the organisation, I have friends who are already working for the same firm in other regions so this isn't just a pitch form the head hunter.
My wife will earn well in the UK this coming year so now is the time to try it I'm sure of it.
This is the approximate package monthly in QAR
basic 18,500
est. commission 14,000
living allowance 11,500
Medical, car, mobile and life all covered plus 22,000 annual flight allowance
The commission is open ended so I could earn more, but it's not guaranteed so obv. it could be less, I am a successful sales guy in the UK and used to work for this firm before in the UK so I know their structure is achievable and I know I can trust them to pay it!
I have a reasonable understanding that my housing allowance needs to be quite flexible as various rentals demand different levels of contract term/ deposits/ commissions etc so I will ensure this is the case.
But what else MUST! I cover at this stage. I read a lot that Employment law is the best part of non existent but as its a UK based PLC hiring in the region is this any different?
Cheers in advance.
