Carpentry / Building Jobs in the Middle East?
Hi...
I am a teacher and my husband and I are looking into taking 'career breaks' to try something new.
There are lots of excellent teaching packages & opportunities for me, but we seem to be coming unstuck when looking for opportunities for my husband. He is a carpenter and joiner, but also has experience in the building trade...
Does anyone have any help or advice about how / where to find him some work?

the stock reply would be all building work is done by third world nationals who get paid sod all and live in labour camps.
however...a few quality fit out contractors operate with gangs of westeners. But they tend to travel as is the nature of the job.
