Default YAY! I finally got a date for the interview

After calling them since I mailed the check list to the U.S Consulate
in Montreal in early June. I finally got the interview date booked for
me on Oct 30. They told me that they will issue the visa the next day
after the interview at 2pm, so I guess I will have to stay over night.

:-) I hope everything will be fine. Will they ask tricky questions
during the interview? DO I need to get prepared for that?

This is, of course, assuming you are approved at the interview.

Just answer all questions truthfully, even if the answer is "I don't know" or "please repeat the question". Shouldn't be any tricks...just answer whatever they ask.

Best Wishes,
Rene

I did not get any tricky questions ... just ensure that you answer all
questions honestly. Don't look for things to worry about . Just
complete the paperwork to the best of your ability, and get all your
questions answered in advance before going to Montreal. I did find that
refreshing some dates in my mind helped ... such as the approximate
date you met, when he proposed etc.
