hi need some help my fiance s coming from chicago for x mass she drinks Woodchuck Amber Draft Cider anywhere i can get it in england or london ?

I don't think it's available outside the US yet. I know that Blackthorn and Strongbow (my fave) are very similar to the 802 Dark & Dry. Personally can't stand the other Woodchuck flavors so couldn't tell you if there is anything similar to them.

noto77, Dont worry about that Woodchuck crap.There is only one cider in the UK and thats Stan Thatcher,s cider of Zummerzet.Unless you have drunk Scrumpy you aint had cider.You might be able to get it in London,check it out.Just make sure you dont drink as much as she does and you WILL have a great Christmas,lol

woodchuck actually make woodpeckers under license and is very similar to woodpeckers (one line of woodchuck's is anyway).

Mate...I went to Somerset this past July and was introduced to Cider by the locals. Thatchhams or something like that...and of course Strongbow. When I came back I had the taaste for Cider so bad I went out and bought whatever Cider I could get here....turned out to be Woodchuck.

DONT get any of that stuff for her because its utter PISS. Just plonk a few bottles of Thatchams infront of her and watch the realisation appear on her face that shes been drinking riverwater for years and has finally found the real stuff.

Seriously, I have 2 six packs od that Woodchuck muck in my cellar that have one bottle missing from them and I cant drink them (And I can drink anything alcoholic usually)...they're disgusting.

Woodchuck is okay if you like the sweet woodpecker kind - much like the appeal of alcopops. That's how most of us brits started drinking alcohol right? The stuff of choice for underage drinking teens sitting in a park!
