Why is my I-485 sent to California Service Center?
I just received a notification (after many months of no news since filing)
that the I-485 petition I filed for my spouse and children was forwarded to
the California Service Center for processing; however we reside in
Massachusetts.
Does it make any sense?

When we initially applied for a spouse visa, we sent off all the forms (G325
etc) to Nebraska which was the service centre for our region and they too
forwarded it to California. All went through pretty quick too.
