sl,

People who have never heard of, seen, or met you - such as US
immigratin officials and readers of this newsgroup - have something in
common - we know you only by your words. How you present yourself is
our only indication of who you are and what you are like - it is you
who dictate to us what we are to think of you by your words.

Also like US immigration officials we apparently have something that
you want. Information. To be more precise - free information. You
might also want it to be accurate information. So as with immigration
officials, if you ask your questions coherently - and nicely - you'll
have a better chande of getting what you want.

Regards, JEff

When you come on to a public board you take the good and the bad, if you want to complain, pay for a consulatation with a lawyer.

The thing I find hard to understand is why after the initial comments that you continue to post gibberish.

You say you are intelligent and have received an education. So whats the excuse now?

Just from a selfish point of view, you want free advise, best way is to ask comprehensible questions.

OK so I have another question:

So I checked out the stats for the minimum proverty line income for my fiance to be able to use the affidavit

On support. Under the 125% column its states for 3 people in household
is $19,750-20,650 approx

Which is about 11,000 I think in GBP this is fine np at all....so am I to assume correct this is the minimum he is allowed to earn??? to provide for us all??.

Also another question that just poped up I was thinking off is do the USA
have any benefits for children at all..where as the UK has Family
Allowance for every child no matter of the families income??

Was just a thought....trying to gauge what the full financial picture will be
like..

ty Lorna
Its not approx, it is $20,750 at the moment, it may be slightly higher by the time you get to your interview. He needs to earn more than this.

But if you do a K1 you can self sponsor, check with the US Consulate in London, you need about GBP3,000 or so. That may be each, I do not know.

Free education is about the only benefit you will be entitled to, US is very different from UK in that respect. There may be some individual State programmes that are not means tested.

Any means tested benefits you try and get, if your able to, your financial sponsor will have to repay, so basically you'll be sticking it to yourselves if you try get any.

Minimum amounts of money for USCIS won't be enough money to survive on for a family unless you live in some of the cheaper middle states, so would have to have way more than that, or could use assets to make up any shortfall, but assets have to be x5 the salary level.

If you don't have enough for the financial sponsor, it's a good idea to have a back up plan, any USC or LPR can be your sponsor, you can always pull them out once you have your interview if you don't end up needing them.

Also, for the ease of reading your posts, perhaps use the "Enter" key to make paragraphs for each question, and punctuation helps, and yes, I know this isn't an English lesson, but it certainly makes it easier to read what your saying and to offer any advice, it is free after all, so some courtesy could be returned with clearer posts.

Good luck.

Actually, the "information" she is seeking is legal advice, and very few people who engage in that activity here are authorized to do so. But hey, that's nothing new ;-).
