Question What happens to wife's I-130 after I change status to Citizen

Hi,

I am a LPR who applied for his wife's immigration about 4 years ago, Its still pending, although I-130 has been approved but we have waiting for her priority date to become current.
Meanwhile I have also recently filed for my citizenship for United States, once I "if" I get it, can she come here immidiately? What is the procedure once I become a Citizen of United States.

Thanks

Yes.

Have you googled it yet?

When you become a citizen, your wife's priority status changes and she
can apply for immigrant visa immediately but yuou must first inform the
USCIS of your citizenship status and etiher file a new I-130 for her or
upgrade the old I-130. (I think you just fill a new one and attach a
copy of the old one with it.)

You can make an info pass appointment at the local USCIS office and ask
about it. For the appt, go to www.uscis.gov and click Info Pass.
