Waiting on interview letter?
#1
We are on the home stretch. After all the forms, notification readiness was submitted on the 19th of June. Based on DCF 1-130 filing in London timings people have had recently, shouldn't my hubby have received his letter for interview by now? Or does it really take the 6 weeks?
Also, they wouldn't send it to our U.S. Based immigration lawyer would they?!
Is there an online status thing to check?
I'm starting to worry.

Oh. I didn't realize that glitch affected processing to get interview times. Thought it was only visa issuing into passports! Yikes and.... Makes me sad.
Thanks for the insight. Guess we must wait.

We are waiting too. Notice of readiness submitted on 23 June. Husband had medical on 26 June. Medical sent to Embassy on 30 June. And now we wait. Getting anxious too. Can you let me know when you get your interview letter? Thanks!

Definitely will do. I haven't seen hubby since May and miss him terribly.

On Friday night I sent a tweet to the Embassy asking where they are in terms of processing interview letters for those who submitted notification of readiness on 1 July. Hope they will answer on Monday. They seem very responsive on the Twitter feed. It's: @USAinUKCGCorner.

Catawampus- when was your husband's medical?
We submitted the notification of readiness before my husband had his medical. Apparently the Embassy doesn't generate an interview letter until both the medical has been sent AND you've submitted the notification of readiness. If you let me know, we might be able to compare timelines a bit better.

His was 3 days before we submitted the readiness.
I've tried asking them on Twitter but no response. Hopefully you get one!

Alisongarf, have you heard back from the Twitter feed?

Yes, just saw that. I wrote back to clarify if six weeks is the timing to receive the letter, or for the actual interview itself. Hopefully it's the latter!
Are you ACatsTale on Twitter? I saw that they wrote to someone with that handle.

Yes, that's me! I wanted to double check. we had gotten a notice to vacate our house by the end of July... and that puts us just under 6 weeks in that timeframe. I am panicking.

Just heard back from the Embassy via Twitter -- they now say the time between notification of readiness and receipt of interview letter is approximately 6 weeks! Ugh. It was just a couple of weeks before the technical glitch.
