waiting for decision for AOS INTERVIEW

Default waiting for decision for AOS INTERVIEW

Hi,

I applied for AOS thru marriage in Sept 2003. i had interview in aug 2004. but after the 15 min interview the immigration officer told me it is already 4:30pm and i have 2 more persons in line for interview. so i will mail you decision. but till then now, after more then one year nothing in the mail. i went to the immigration office in march and they said need of second interview, but dont know when. i m really fed up from this waiting. anyone has the same expierence plz share with me.now i m again going to immigration office on this thursday wat should i have to ask them plz suggest me.

See if you can get local congressman or senator's help. They may inquire about it.

hi Mike,
thax for ur reply. yes i think i should have to contact to teh congressman. but my lawyer told me if u will do this u will gonna ruin ur case. coz some time immigraton people get pissed off with this kind of activities.
he said teh only thing u can do when u r tired of wait come to me with $5000 i will sue the immigration on ur behalf. but i think that s really bad idea to sue the immigration. i know my lawyer only want money and he will not gonna care taht i will win the case or loose.
so i think the best and last option is senator or congressman/woman.

If you don't trust your attorney, why on earth would you consider using him? Find another one.

Contacting your rep when necessary is actually an excellent idea, if it wasn't for mine.. I'd still be waiting on my EAD!!
