Waiting for AOS - specific question

Waiting for AOS - specific question
1. Hi, I'm a K1 waiting for my AOS interview. I was just wondering if the fact that my US husband is an active duty military service member could in any way help in our AOS processing. We are OK now, but once he starts his rotation service he will be out to sea for 6 months/year. This means we won't be able to be there always and whenever the INS (BCIS) feels like it.
2. Is it possible to postpone the AOS interview if I happen to be out of the country (that is in Europe) at the time of the appointment?
3. On an additional note I wanted to ask if and for how long would I be able to stay in my home country during the time he is out on navy deployment? The deployments vary from 4 to 8 months. I don't have family here aside from him and we will be moving around a lot so it would be hard for me, especially once we have a baby - that is why I ask.
Any kind of insight/opinion is appreciated.

Re: Waiting for AOS - specific question
I would be interested to hear the response to this too.
I just filed my AOS in person this morning (am about to type an additional
post re: the experience). From what I've heard on the history of this
office, an interview date is typically set for approximately 5 months from
now.
Here's the problem:
There's a good chance that I'm going to be in a tight training program for
an investments firm around that time. Training dates have to be set well in
advance, and there are days of long tests also. If I'm having to fly to St
Louis for a training class or having to sit a brokerage exam...not sure what
flexibility would be like. Is it possible to reschedule a BCIS AOS
interview?
