VVOT: Look For Us On NBC News This Morning
Jim and I are once again participating in the Revlon Run/Walk for Women's Cancer here in New York City. For those in the area the start of the walk will be filmed on NBC this morning. The walk starts at 9:15. We usually start very close to the starting line and I'll be the one wearing a dark blue fleece Grand Canyon jacket and waving my pink Survivor's Baseball Cap in the air when passing the cameras. Now how is that for a clue.
We didn't do to bad in contributions this year. I have $706 in sponsorship contributions and Jim has over $500. And our anti-rain dance has worked so far. The rain scheduled for this morning appears to be holding off until midday.
Now ... can I beat my time from last year? Aiming for 52 minutes or shorter for the 5K.
