Re: Visiting Fiancé for Christmas - Advice?
I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas.
Just thought I'd pop back to say that everyone who told me I was worrying to much were right!
Got to Atlanta, and there was absolutely no one in our immigration area at all. I got a lovely young man, who asked me:
Why I was there (Visiting Fiancé & family)
How long for? (2 weeks)
How much money?
Did my two lip piercings hurt? (I wasn't expecting this but he was genuinely interested and we had a laugh)
Then he sent me on my way wishing me a Merry Christmas, and I sighed a HUGE sigh of relief! Hehe.
Anyway, thanks for everyone who told me it would all be okay - next time I come over here I should hopefully have my fiancée visa in hand!

Luckily, I don't think I come across as your standard 'pierced person' so it's never caused me issues. I guess some stereotypes don't go away though.

Prison Tats or gang related Tattoos maybe, but i doubt normal tattoos will raise issues. I have never had any issues with my tattoos, and i do not attempt to hide them.

I wonder if anyone ever got secondary questioning or denied entry for their cute little dolphin tattoo on their shoulder :P
