Hi All,

I logged on yesterday to check the status of our application, the embassy has updated the status to say my husband is ready for his interview, but we have no date yet - this was 19th August it was updated.

Should I call them to check? Wondering if the letter is lost in the mail OR can expect to wait a while longer?

I nay have just answered this but I recieved mine around the 17th of August and the interview date was recieved about the 23rd. All via email (NVC Portsmouth and London embassy)

All the 'ready' means is that the file has arrived at th visa section. If you filiers in the US then so would call NVC, if you filiers DCF then there is no one to call.
