I heard form Vermont on 12/24/02 that our petition was approved. We filed 05/06/02 and got the first NOA on 05/09/02. Wehad to call Vermont about 6 times until we got someone who would help us. My fiance (the US citizen) got a really nice lady name Rochelle and she was amazed at how long we had been waiting and had it escalated to a supervisor there. This all happened on 12/23/02 and was approved the mext day. It pays to keep calling them if you can.
I hope to hear from my side (Montreal) soon. She advised us that I should get my stuff from them within 2-3 weeks.
