Vancouver Mailing Visa
Hi,
My fiancee interviewed in Vancouver for a K-1 Visa on February 24.
Everything went very well, just a few questions of "when did you
meet?" and "what's the last time you saw her?" No questions about the
affidavit of support or a request for any other proof (which he had in
his handy accordian file just in case). The officer said well, let's
just have a quick look at the medical form and we should be able to
get you approved today. The officer scans over the medical form
asking a few questions, then gets to the bottom and realizes Dr Chana
from Edmonton forgot to SIGN the form! He told my fiancee not to
worry too much, he would just fax Dr Chana and have him sign something
and fax it back. Then they would mail my fiancee his packet and his
passport with his visa in it. He prepaid the postage for an express
post parcel thru Canada Poste back to his home in Alberta. I was just
wondering if anyone knows how long he should expect to wait for that
to get back to him (the actual mailing time to his location is 3
business days) ? I'm not sure how long they'll take to finish
everything up. He has emailed them 2 times to inquire how it's going,
assure they got the fax, and find out if they need anything further
but has not had a response. Any input is appreciated!
Thanks!

Re: Vancouver Mailing Visa
Congratulations.
May I, as a representative of the newsgroup, ask that you post (you can cut and paste) your experience to the "official experience pages"
We are sadly in need of current experiences and I have been lacked in asking people to do this.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Vancouver Mailing Visa
Posted his interview story at the link you gave.
Also, my fiancee's passport with visa, accompanied by the "Big brown
envelope," were sent out of Vancouver March 1 and received on March 4.
