Default USC Seeks Income Tax Resources (K1)

Hi,

I'm a US Citizen that married my K1 fiancee in September. I'm trying to locate information to complete our 2003 income taxes correctly while taking advantage of any financial benefits we can enjoy this first year.

I've located several relevant posts on this site, but nothing comprehensive. Am I missing something? Several folks mention a very helpful site at at http://home.nc.rr.com/hopperger/taxinst.html yet that web page now seems to have vanished. Has it been reposted elsewhere?

Are there any references you found particularly helpful? Please let us know. Thanks for your kind advice!

Best regards,

Mike and Mei Chih

Mike,

The IRS has detailed instructions for resident and non-resident alien filing. Search the IRS web site, but remember that IRS instructions make CIS instructions look like child's play.

See a tax accountant this year. it will be worth the (tax deductable) expense to get it done right.

Regards, JEff
