Default Urgent I-751 question, please help, left questions blank on form

Hello folks,

I submitted my joint i-751 to TSC in March 07 with my USC spouse. Still waiting on my application. Biometrics is completed in April 07. I now realized that I made a big mistake by leaving 3 questions blank on the form:

1. Other names used
2. If your spouse is deceased, please provide date
3. A# of spouse if any

I sent in a lot of supporting evidence, I am not worried about the evidence part.

Now I know I should have written down None or N/A on the form for these questions. I am really freaking out now. i wonder if TSC will deny the application for being incomplete? Anyone has an idea as to what I can do next? I am wondering would it help if I resubmit a new application altogether? I don't care if I have to pay the fees again. I don't want to get denied for something stupid on my part in filling out the form.

Anything I can do now except just waiting?

Please help! thanks for your feedback.

What makes you think that this was a "big mistake"... or even a small mistake?

Thanks for your reply. Good question, that's why I am on the board. I really don't know how significant this is, does anyone know?

I highly doubt leaving those items blank is the reason for the delay. If you want, you can make in Infopass to go in person and check on your case. Six months after biometrics, for a jointly filed petition does seem a little long, so if you're very curious, you can go in person and check it out. On the other hand, you are still a PR, nothing changes about that, and you can still apply for naturalization when you qualify.

I would say in the big picture of immigration, this particular thing is on the low end of significance.

Much like the entire I-751 application.

Yep, the I-751 is pretty much something you can submit on time, get the biometrics done, and then forget all about.
