Default Updated medical policies

I got my interview finally, for November 19th - and my Medical is signed May 2017.

After reading on USCIS site, i found this recent policy change: https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/H...-Chapter4.html

If you scroll down around 3 quarters of the page, it has two tables for forms submitted prior to November 1st 2018, and also after November 1st 2018.

The way i read it, because i filed my medical in May 2017 within around 2 weeks of getting a signature from the civil surgeon, it should be valid for 2 years.

However, I'm toying with the idea of just getting another one - just in case.

Anybody had a recent AOS interview and have experience around this?
