Upcoming MUMBAI K-1 Interview - Any advice
My fiancee's K-1 interview is coming up soon. Same ethnicity, greater
than 10 years age diff ( I am older than her), I am divorced once, no
kids for either of us.
Any advice to offer ?
Will they let me into consulate for her interview ?
One more question
ANother buddy's lady had her interview a week back. They said there is
a 'name check' necessary in Washington, put her on admin review (I
think 221g) and said they'll call her in "two weeks".
Any insights on that ??
Thanks for your responses on any or all of the items above

Darren,
Age difference might be an issue but if you are older than her you should have no problem. They would get nervous when the female is older the male.
The divorce issue might come up during the interview. If the divorce was recent they might be concerned. From reading others experience you should bring along wedding pictures of your previous marriage.
I would recommend be honest and positive. Finally you she will get the visa after the typical mumbai hassles.
As you know we were under review for 4 months and finall he is here with me.
Just have her bring every documents you have. Just prepare and just go in feeling relaxed and positive. Don't get nervous when a hard question comes up. They do this to aggitate the fiance/spouse.
good luck and she will do fine.
