For all the people that are waiting for the K3 visa at TSC.
sent I130 on 10-23-2002
got a reciept a week later
sent I129F November First 2002
got a reciept November 7 2002
been waiting for over three months Until It finally got approved online today.

For those who are waiting, This is the first time I post a message I just felt that I must share it.

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status:

This case has been approved. On February 18, 2003, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours.

This is the exact status online.

I have not seen my wife for so long, I miss her so much, I am so happy for us.

The INS system is very slow, I had to wait until I became a US Citizen to petition her, but let me tell u I am sure all the pain and the long period of separation will be forgotten once u and ur love get together.

I really wish from my heart that u all get what u are waiting for, I tried everything, called the INS so many times, faxed my request to TSC, called my senator, checked the status every day, it Seems that no matter what u do, God has the power Authority, God will give u patient and strenght.
For those who are intrested how long I have not seen my wife for?

It is more than 2 and half years, I could not petition her until I became A US citizen.


and when I became a US citizen I could not go back home to see her , I got stuck with work and did not have enough money to go and see her she lives thousands of miles away, in Egypt.

The reason why I wrote this posting is to give hope to all that are waiting for their visas, The INS is very slow but you really cant blame them.
but honstly it should not take this long for a husband to bring his wife of for a wife to bring her husband.

Congratulations on your approval!!

Just one note, you probably sent the I-130 to TSC but the I-129F (for K3 purpose) is sent to a Chicago address and it is then processed by Missouri Service Center (MSC), not Texas Service Center.

Good luck on the rest of the process.

I live In NY, I sent my I130 am not sure where, but I am 100% sure I sent the I29f To TSC, then once TSC approves it , then it will be forwared to NVC, then from NVC to the Consulate. Please correct me ifI am wrong

I also live in New York. The I-130 is sent to Vermont Service Center. After you get the I-797 (Notice of Action) from VSC, you can send the I-129F along with the copy of the I-797 (as evidence of filing the I-130) to the Chicago address indicated on the intsruction sheet of the I-129F. The file is then sent to Missouri Service Center. MSC is the ONLY service center that processes I-129F for K3 Visa purposes. After your application is approved it does go to the National Visa Center where it is forwarded to the Consulate.

The only thing I can think of (if you are SURE you sent the file to TSC) is that TSC might of caught your error and sent it to the correct address.

Nothing should have been sent to TSC if you live in New York, you would be under jurisdiction of VSC.

Hey, the bright side is you are in fact approved!!!

Now I'm starting to panic.

Oh, someone earlier said that maybe INS sorts by U.S. and foreign marriage
certificates. I don't remember if I replied to that one or not. Anyway,
they don't. So, if you're worrying about whether to get married within the
U.S. or not, it's nothing to worry about. Do whatever's more convenient.
Oh, and if you're not a naturally-born US citizen, don't worry about that
either. INS doesn't give preference to naturally born US citizens. So far,
I don't know what they give preferential treatment to. It's definitely not
time away from each other... we're going on 3 years 4 months.

That was a K3 NOT a 130 approved. Remember TSC is now saying up to 999 days to approve a 130.................We've got a while to wait,

Nvc Letter March 3, 2003
Us embassy sent my wife Letter on March 9
Wife sent back her package March 13
Visa Interview May 21
Visa pickup ???? not sure yet they said four days.

Interview was simple and easy, but that is not always the case.
I sent her every possible documents they might ask.
