Travel to Hawaii pending AOS

My AOS is still pending, and I do have an AP. I know Hawaii is a part of US, but what
do I need to bring when we fly to Kauai in November? Do I even have to care to bring
passport and AP, or a driver's licence will do? I'm flying from NYC to SFO to Kauai,
so no stopping over at a foreign location. Do I still go through some sort of customs
office? If you could help me figuring out, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.

I would bring the passport and the driver's license. It is a part of the US, and you
do not go through immigration going there or coming home, but it is good to have
appropriate ID.
