Tax Statement

Hello I have filed a K1 visa for my fiance but before they give her the interveiw
they said they need a my tax statements for 1998,99& 2000.The problem is that a tax
return transcript takes 7-10 days to reach me but a copy of a tax form and W2 info
takes up to 60 days! I have already bought her a plane ticket here for August 29th so
the latter info would be to late. Does anyone know what they require? DO they just
want the transcript or the full blown W2 info? Thanks in advance for any info. Stefan

notarization or certification of tax returns, as long as you also have copies of the
W-2's that went with them. According to user reports, A FEW consulates will not
accept tax transcripts, the most notable that I have heard of are India and Pakistan,
as most others seem to take the transcripts OK. All consulates seem to accept the
actual photocopies of returns/W-2's, from the reports that I have heard.
