A week ago today I was sitting in the DAO Office having my AOS interview!!
Today a week later I am sitting at home with my GC in my hand already.
Talk about faster than a speeding bullet huh? I was totally not expecting it to arrive so quick so was absolutely blown away when I opened the envelope & found it.
Just goes to show that they can move fast when they want to huh?
All these months of reading of others getting their GC's wondering how they felt etc was all worth it now I know myself. To those still waiting, hang in there, it really is worth the wait. This feeling will take you by surprise.
Anyways best get back to work, want to stop by to see Hubby on my way back to blow him away with this amazingly wonderful news.
Thankyou USCIS for moving so fast!!!
Cheers
Cindy

After we married in NZ hubby had to return to the US 3 months later leaving me in NZ while he got the K3 going & we were apart for exactly a year, missing our first wedding anniversary
& trust me that was awful but something we put down to a little hurdle on the road to being together forever. Fingers crossed that you get yours sorted out soon.Cheers

Thanks guys, I appreciate it! I am definitely very thankful that i can be with my husband. I know what a torture it was for us to be apart so it is great to be together. But I'm still soooo ready for that damn approval. *L* I don't want to have to deal with renewing work and travel authorization every year (and stressing whether it's going to make it on time). Well, since I'm at CSC I will hopefully hear a result soon...ut still.
But back to the important part: congrats on that shiny new card!!
