Default Starting K1-Visa, help anyone?

Im starting my K1-Visa for my fiance in the Philippines.
I contacted BCIS and have received the I-129f, and the G-325a forms.
I contacted them and ask what all I needed to do, just so I have an
understanding.
All they said was that I need to fill out the petition and send mine and her
G-325a forms in along with pictures of both of us "in accordiance with
specifications" and from there, once approved would go to the embassy in the
Philippines. Is that all??

The internet is kind of confusing to me on this issue.

From what I read, not only do I have to fill out those two forms, but is
there any other forms I send as well? or do they send me those forms when
the petition is approved?

If anyone could help me out on getting started and what I "actually" need to
have together I would appreciate it alot.

Thanks
John

I strongly recommend that you take a look at these two sites:

http://k1fun.envy.nu/i129f.html

This site describes EXACTLY how one couple prepared all the papers and documents, including examples of how they filled out all the forms. (Their application flew through the approval process in less than a month!!!)

http://www.immigration.gov/graphics...nal/index.htm#H

These are the Immigration Service's recommendations for assembling the packet of information.

Charlie,

Sf is a Usenet poster to the newsgroup. He does not see the list of threads as shown on British Expats, he does not see the information post by Rete at the head of the list.

If you want you can look at my page: http://www.geocities.com/steveo_and_kimmy

I put our I-129F packet up so people can see it. You do not have to send in the I-134 like we did.

Sorry but no, you dont have a choice. You file with the service center that incorporates your area. For you that would be Texas.

Sadly you need to post it at the Texas Service Centre. It could be a lot worse though, Texas is by no means the slowest. And Vermont isn't as fast as it used to be from what I'm hearing.

I'm thinking they are asking for a US social security number, not a foreign one.

Hi there again

I have a SSN # out here too, but my lawyer left the spot blank since the form asks for an American SSN #.
Good luck!

Cool. Thanks again.

I have been scanning letters, cards, photos, airline tickets, and whatever i
can find as proof..

i have too much proof..lol..

I guess as far as emails, i will just copy and send a few from each month
instead of sending a copy of all.. geez.. i could write a book..

Thanks again guys

-John

if anyone has any suggestions please let me know

Hypertweeky, i looked at your site and i signed ur guestbook. I printed out
the forms you scanned so i get an idea of what i am looking at.
