Default Spousal immigration visa : reasons for 221(g) forms -

This doc just shed so many lights especially in my case ,DV2006 lottery
winner, I was denied under 221(g) and requested for further evidence of my
relationship with my spouse (chinese national). After reading this doc I
understand now they are trying to find out if the marriage is bona fide (
i.e. we got married not for immigration benefits) - the argument is not if
the marriage is viable here.
Funny because in my case : I applied for the lottery during a late night on
computer and nothing else to do
We got married in March
I received a letter in June
stating I won the lottery
Therefore the timeline should have given an idea to the consular officer the
marriage is bona fide. Reading further the document it looks like they give
221(g) for any thing uncommon in a marriage such as : - large age difference

- different languages

- cultural differences

- family and friends not aware of the
marriage

Read further information in the following URL

it is in a pdf format

Enjoy the reading !!!
