Default So sorry one last question....

On the form you fill in for the K1, you list all your employment in the past 10 years, do they actually get in contact with them as two that I have put down have closed down. If it helps Ive been with my current employer for 7years now and I havent told him yet that I might be immigrating, its not that i wont give him plenty of notice, I just didnt want to be saying Im going, Im not, Im going again.

This might seem like last minute worrying it is , I just dont need anything to go wrong tomorrow.

If anyone is intrested I cant believe that i am so worked up about this, I must have checked everything 5000 times, I cant sleep, I cant eat.

Anyhow thanks to everyone who has answered my ramblings over the past 5 weeks, and Im sure to post no matter what happens.

I've never heard of them contacting them and if they have closed down,
they've closed down.

On a recent security background check that I'm going through I had to do a
similar thing. In this case it is likely that they'll contact them. The
company had been bought out so I put the old and new name but if they've
gone for good, there's really nothing you can do except put (RIP). I'm
kidding about putting that though!

Andy.

Hi there

Don't worry about asking questions, You are always welcome here ok?.
The form you are talking about is The G-325 no the I-129. By the way the G-325A from requires you to list the employments you have had in the last 5 years no 10!, so if you have been working for the same employer for 7 years, You just have to list the one you are currently working for.
Good Luck!!

Are you trying to get a security clearance? I thought you had to be a
citizen. I can't believe how many 6 figure jobs are available for even
menial tech positions for those who have a security clearance.

Hmmm- I might be wrong, , but I think the OP is talking about the DS-230 Part 1 for the actual K 1 visa... At least my packet 3 form asked me about the last 10 years of employment...

It's not a secret / top-secret clearance, it's a specific clearance for
working on a project for the US customs service so it has different rules.
