I've read most threads and most articles so I'm hoping I'm fine but just wanted to confirm my situation here as I'm going through the process all in my head and can't ask a friend or family as normal as nobody else has done it...
Monday at 10am I have my interview for my Green Card as child of a US Citizen...
I sent off all my originals, I filled in a DS-230, and I've completed my medical.
Therefore I'm going down tomorrow with nothing essentially. Although I will take photocopys just incase
So apart from that I just turn up Monday in plenty of time (my hotel is right next to it), look presentable, wait my turn then answer all questions truthfully. I just want to make sure there is nothing I am forgetting!
Oh, and I won't take electronics or anything with me there either. (I have been the embassy last year for a C1/D visa). Will also take money for a courier service.
Anything I'm forgetting or anything I can prepare for?

I interview on Monday, I fly in July 7th, I start my employment contract in September, I have been in Seattle for a month on a tourist visa between May and June (now in UK), and for the past year I have entered the US on a C1/D visa when not visiting.
Lol...

Lol sorry I'm not sure if I've confused anyone, I think I've probably confused myself.

Currently I live with mother and step father.
My dad re-married a US Citizen and has lived there for a good few years in Miami, he is now nationalized so I came in as a son of a US citizen being sponsored by him/my step mom who he lives with...

Didn't you send all (most) of those items to the National Visa Center/NVC already?
What is a "small birth certificate" & why are you taking it?
Do you know where your father filed the petition I-130? In London or in the US? (London doesn't make sense, but I'm just checking)

Well this gets more curious (it will not affect your interview, I'm just curious)...

I also have two birth certificate type docs, a long one with more info on it, and a small one which doesn't have as much...(can't describe properly without it and it's all packed and locked...gotta get up in 5 hours for train lol).
Just asked my Dad now, no response yet but i beleive it was the USA, as he was also the main agent, I didn't do anything with it and he's not lived in the UK for like 10 years...will update if i hear back from him!

So at least it looks like i've not missed anything there, just wanted to make sure.

Hi, yes we sent everything to to the NVC already in New Hampshire and it's all approved. Realistically I beleive I need nothing in that interview other than my passport and letter of appointment. I was just taking all the copies of stuff in case, I don't know, extra cautious. I had all the stuff in my file so thought I'd bring it.

The NVC collects the documents for the interview, but does not approve them. Tomorrow is a little bit more than just a command appearance. But, if you were going to have a problem, I suspect you'd already know it, so just enjoy the adventure tomorrow!
