Default Skype help please

Hi Guys,

I'm getting together all my documents, proof of relationship etc for the London interview for the K1 visa.
I've noticed on other threads that others have taken Skype call log history as proof, I've investigated this and have a question. Does anyone know how to print more than six months of call history? and what's the easiest way to condense the info as we message each other while chatting and it will be a huge amount of paper to carry on the day if I just print the screenshots.

You will probally guess by the questions that i'm not very computer savvy, so any help would be greatly accepted.

Many thanks

In my opinion, you do not need this much history, if any at all. If you feel the need to print something from Skype, just print the most current month or so.

I agree.

But if you're going to print and submit transcripts, read carefully and be very selective about what you will print and submit. You don't want to submit things that could harm, rather than help, your case. A 3rd party who knows nothing about you could read your writings to mean something different from what it means to you.

You don't need proof of relationship. I promise.
Just take what's on this list of documents London tells you to bring and forget all that printing. They will not look at that, or photos, or facebook status, or trips to see each other, or love letters, or mushy emails.....

Obviously, Moxie sounds like she/he (sorry, I'm fairly new here so don't know who's who!) knows what they're talking about however; if you still feel the need to print off Skype call logs, I can say that I've done it as part of the evidence we sent in with the I129F petition. All I did was copy the whole records going back to the start (almost two and a half years worth) and then pasted it into notepad (or other document). From there, it was easy, if a little time-consuming, to delete ALL written messages and leave in just one call for each day we talked (somedays, especially if connection was bad, there could be several calls made, I just picked the longest conversation and left that there).

By the time I'd finished (and it took about an hour) I had about two A4 sheets of call records to print out..... nothing major as far as ink or paper was concerned and all I'm going to do when it comes to my interview is add the last few months of extra calls to that same record.

I know, from what I've read on many threads here, that I won't be asked for them BUT, I believe in "sod's law" and I guarantee that it'll be just my luck for them to ask for it if I haven't got it LOL!!!

Best of luck

Chrissy

You are not required to show proof of a relationship.

I had my interview 2 weeks ago, they didn't asked for any proof of relationship. They only asked my passport, birth certificates, police certificates, photographs and form I-134.

Heh indeed, while I was going through the process of getting my CR1 visa my husband and I would constantly complain about the US immigration laws to each other over Skype because we just wanted to be reunited asap so that wouldn't have been a very good thing to show!
