Default Singapore embassy

Well I was wondering if anyone out there has had any dealings with the
Singapore embassy and could give me any info. I am still waiting for the
approval of my K1 app for my fiancée. After that is approved they will
be sending it over to Singapore. I was wondering if they will send her
an interview date with packet 3 or will she get that after she sends the
packet in. Also do they just assign you a date and you really have no
choice when to come, even though it may not be a good time? Or do they
contact my fiancée about the date? Any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Carey

hi,

this was my timeline:
fyi my time line is/was:
7/27/00 - received NOA for I129F
8/21/00 - (postmark) received letter from the US consulate
8/28/00 - sent letter to the US consulate with Form 230 Part I
8/28/00 - (postmark) received letter from the US consulate with
list of doctors
8/29/00 - sent letter to the US consulate with the completed
checklist
9/14/00 - (postmark) received letter from the US consulate with
interview date
9/25/00 - interview at the US consulate
10/2/00 - visa approved
10/21/00 - married!

all correspondence are done in writing. the interview date was
assigned. it is only assigned after your fiance sent in the
information and documents that they want.
