Default seeking advice on citizenship application

Greetings everyone.

If a greencard holder (5 years) who is single submits his citizenship
application, then gets married (say half a year later, before the
interview, to a legal non-immigrant)...

Does he needs to ammend his application with new marital information?
or will he be asked about this information during the interview? or,
as hopefully the best case, his application can be normally processed?

The essence of the question is whether there will be extra delay in
the naturalization process due to the marriage.

Many thanks for any advice or suggestions.

Default Re: seeking advice on citizenship application

During the interview you can report the
change in marital status. Until then, there
is no requirement to inform the
change in marital status.

Congratulation and good luck
