San Bernardino BCIS office experiences?
Hi All,
My lawyer told me that my I-130/I-485 case was transferred to from the Santa
Ana to the San Bernardino office.
In most reports (like processing time reports) and websites I don't see this
office show up. Looks like they are mainly doing special registration and
stuff like that.
Does anybody have experiences with this office?
Good luck to you all,
Etienne
My timeline so far:
01/23/03 filed at office Santa Ana
02/21/03 receipt notice, EAD scheduled for 3/7/03
02/24/03 AP notice, to pick up anytime
03/07/03 EAD processing, get AP and EAD
03/13/03 AOS fingerprinting notice for 3/25/03
03/25/03 fingerprinted for AOS, Riverside processing center
08/20/03 send out status inquiry by fax (attorney)
09/01/03 call from BCIS: case transferred to San Bernardino Office. Now
handling cases from 09/2002. Interview will probably be around dec03/jan04

Re: San Bernardino BCIS office experiences?
The Bernardino office is 10x easier to get into than the other 2 offices. If you get there 2 hours b4 if opens, you might find only 15 people. Whereas la and Santa Ana, there might be 500-1000.
So definately a much better place. And if u got a friend, stick 'em in the line, and go mucnh down at denny's across the street.

We filed a couple months after you and we aren't using a lawyer, so we don't have any idea where our application stands. But I think we are at San Bernardino because that is where we went for the EAD. I would really appreciate your posting back to this thread any progress (like an interview!) in your case. I will do the same.
