Default RFE question ...

Can I submit additional information, i.e. proof that we met face to face,
after sending the I-129F for my fiancee to NSC?
I have included copies of the passport pages with the visas and copies of
the plane tickets but at the time of submission I did
not have any photos showing the two of us together. The film was not yet
developed. I would like to submit the photos before I
receive an RFE from NSC and further delaying our petition.

Thank you

Radu

You should wait for the RFE. Without proper mailing instructions, they
will never be able to pair up your submission with the correct petition,
frankly. You probably have no idea of the volume of mail that they get.
Think in terms of 10's of thousands of petitions, frankly.
Sending it prior to receiving the RFE will be a waste of time and money,
IMHO.

Radu,
From what I've read on this site, you're better off if you hold the photos.
If the INS wants photos it will ask for them. Apparently INS is incapable of
locating your file and putting the photos in it. Someone will surely correct
me if I'm wrong about this.

Some more info on the case would be appreciated. I actually heard they were not issuing RFEs. If something was missing or looked strange they were flat out DENYING the petition. Maybe if you give us more info, someone could respond with some info. I'm hoping we misunderstood. Its a scary thought if that were true.

Sorry to sound optomistic but...........
From my very recent experience, you should have waited to send the photos with the I-294F, because my fiancé just recently got a RFE and this was indeed the main reason. You cannot post additional items at this stage. You will have to wait for the RFE............but you may be lucky, we wasn't. Good luck.

Thank you everyone for the information provided.
At this point, 51 days from 1-st NOA, I would welcome an RFE, anything from
Nebraska but a Denial would be welcome.
We're looking to the end of February before we hope to hear anything from
NSC in regards to our petition. It is not easy waiting but it is worth
waiting for.
The first fifty days went by really quick and I'm certain the next fifty
will go by just as fast.

Thank you

Radu
